1 EMPATHISE:

When you observe and pay attention to individuals affected by unwanted loneliness, when you put yourself in their shoes and care enough to lend a hand, you can come up with innovative solutions that may improve the situation.

  • Perceive and understand the issue that needs to be addressed.
  • Understand how others and society react to cases of unwanted loneliness.
  • Listen and empathise with those affected by the identified issue.

2 DEFINE:

When you focus on the problem and analyse its components, you are able to understand which aspects can be improved and begin to devise a way to tackle it by defining a solution.

  • AAnalyse all aspects of the issue, including the various individuals involved and the different causes leading to unwanted loneliness.
  • Approach potential ideas that could resolve the situation.

3 IDEATE:

Once you have reflected on the elements of the issue, you are able to gather several possible alternatives that could lead to a solution.

  • Employ creativity to generate many possible options that address the situations of unwanted loneliness in the local environment.
  • Debate as a group about the best creative and innovative ideas.

4 PROTOTYPE:

When you test the possible solutions and evaluate their results, you can achieve solutions that positively impact those affected by the issue.

  • Shape the ideas by creating prototypes that test the effectiveness of the solution.
  • Experiment with the proposed alternatives and analyse what could be improved.
